Method
- Combine all of the ingredients for the crust in a large bowl. Once they are completely combined press into an oiled 9x13 baking dish.
- In a bowl whisk together the eggs, sugar, & lemon juice. Then pour this into the unbaked crust. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes or until the top & edges are golden brown, the middle is firm, and the sides don’t stick to the pan.
- Once the lemon bars are done, let them cool for about 30 minutes and then sprinkle powdered sugar on the top and the lemon zest on top of that.
- Once completely cooled, cut them into squares and serve!
Notes
Rolling out the lemon's before you cut them will loosen them up and make juicing them so much easier!
Zest your lemons before you cut them and juice them -it's just easier, but if you forget to zest you can always do it after they are juiced.
Make sure your seeds don't fall in!
