The beginning of the year for some reason always starts with taking multiple trips back and forth from the garage to the garden and while that’s a great way to get your steps in, it’s not ideal when you’re in a time crunch to get those seeds & plants in the ground before dinner!
So with that being said here is my go to list of gardening items that I use all the time and I throw them all in a bucket to take out to the garden with me. Yes, I said every time because even if I’m going out there to “just check on the plants” I’ll most likely find something that needs done.
In fact most of the time i’ll just throw everything I need in the wagon, especially if it’s harvest season because that way I have a bunch of extra room for all the harvest so i’m not going back and forth grabbing more baskets or buckets.
First, I love this kit because it has everything in it already and comes with a cute bag instead of a bucket!
But if you have a 5 gallon bucket I highly recommend getting this bucket wrap so that you can save all the room inside your bucket for either weeds or harvest!
Personally I put everything in a bucket and then I put that bucket and another empty bucket in my wagon and pull that out to the garden. We have an irrigation system set up so I don’t have to worry about a watering source unless I’m going to the greenhouse!
Obviously some items will only be used at planting or harvest but its just nice to have everything in one spot and have it always together, just in case!
