I don’t know about you but my child LOVES bananas so any time I can incorporate bananas into something so that he will eat it, I will!
For some reason one day I had out all these different ingredients trying to get him to eat something for lunch and the magic happened! I have been on a mission to make more homemade snacks that are delicious but also healthy so this is what we came up with that day!
They take maybe 5 minutes to make and are so good either fresh or frozen! Honestly frozen would make the perfect summer time pool snack!
Now listen, this recipe does have hemp seeds in it, and before you freak out, no it has nothing to do with marijuana! My family and I do NOT do anything even associated with weed (I cannot stand the smell of it), but now that we have that out of the way!
Hemp seeds (hemp hearts) are packed full of nutrition and are safe for kiddos! This ingredient is your protein powerhouse! They are also full of other vitamins and minerals and are overall a great “tasteless” addition to your recipe!

Ingredients
Method
- Lay foil or parchment paper on a plate or small cookie sheet, then lay out half of the pretzels down.
- Slice your banana into the thickness you'd like (I did about 1/4" thick), but make sure that it gives you enough for each pretzel.
- In a small bowl mix together the yogurt, hemp seeds, and strawberry syrup.
- Lay a banana slice on each pretzel, then place a small dollop (about a teaspoon) of the yogurt mixture on top, then top with another pretzel.
- Place the plate of bites into the freezer for at least an hour. You can also enjoy these right away without freezing! I prefer to not freeze them in the winter but in the summer it makes a great healthy cold snack!
