Cherry Crumb Cheesecake Cookies

These cookies are a party favorite and are a great easy dessert for any get-together!

A graham cracker sugar cookie topped with a cheesecake frosting, cherry pie filling, and crushed graham crackers!

You are more than welcome to make your own cherry pie filling for these cookies, but if you’re in a hurry or just don’t feel like it then canned pie filling is the way to go!

What You’ll Need

For the Cookies

  • 2 Sticks Butter (or 1 Cup Shortening)
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Cream of Tartar
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 1 Cup Crushed Graham Crackers

For the Frosting

  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1 (8oz) Block Cream Cheese
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Can Cherry Pie Filling (topping)
  • Crushed Graham Crackers (topping)

How To Make ’em

DIRECTIONS

COOKIES

Cream together butter, sugar, & brown sugar.

While the mixer is on low speed add in the eggs, vanilla, baking soda, cream of tartar, and flour-one cup at a time.

Roll dough into balls and roll in the crushed graham crackers.

Place them on a cookie sheet about 2-3″ apart and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

FROSTING

Cream together butter, cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar on medium speed. Once everything is combined turn the mixer to high and whip everything together for about 30 seconds.

Once the cookies have cooled, pipe a circle of frosting on the outer rim of the cookie and put a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center. Then sprinkle with more crushed graham crackers and enjoy!

    2. In a large mixing bowl cream together butter, sugar, & brown sugar.

    4. Once it’s completely mixed, roll the dough into balls (a little small than your palm) and roll them around in the crushed graham crackers.
