This was one of the first things I did in my house when I was making the switch to be an all natural non-toxic household.
The ingredients are simple, and it takes roughly 5 minutes to make!

I have always used this old bottle of Jack (this bottle is a little larger than a normal bottle) as a soap dispenser so I just cleaned it out to use for my next batch! I got the pump off amazon and I (obviously) cut my stem too short, which kinda stinks but it’s fine! So don’t make the same mistake I did!
Lets Make it!
Ingredients:
3 Cups Hot Water
2 Tbsp Baking Soda
2 Tbsp Washing Soda
1 Cup Castile Soap
1/2 Cup Vegetable Glycerin
2 ml Tea Tree Essential Oil (optional)
1 ml Lemongrass Essential Oil (optional)
Directions:
1. In a small bowl pour in the hot water and add the baking soda and washing soda, stir this until it dissolves.
2. Once that is dissolved, use a funnel in your dish soap bottle and pour in the water mixture. Then add in the castile soap, vegetable glycerin, and essential oils.
3. Put the lid on and shake it really well.
That’s it, all done!
You can use any essential oils you would like, I just personally prefer the scent that these two together create for my dishes! I also love the extra cleaning properties they add!
